Up-grading to 4-star ★★★★✯
Now, this update really works. The only problems now: #1 the daily HR data resets at midnight, must do screen shot before you fall asleep at night. #2 HR seems to sample and give an average HR about every 5 minutes. That means, it will not measure PEAK exercise HR?
Up-grading to 4-star ★★★★✯
All basic functions now working.

Downgrading to 1-star ★
Day four. Data resets at midnight every night. Not good. All data lost daily. NO SLEEP DATA. It seemed to work the first night, but then it was all gone. Tried three more nights. Nothing works. HR log still shows day one. This app seems to be a demo or prototype, beta test, not usable. Downgrading to 1-star ★ VeryFit 2.0 is v 3.0 now but it does NOT work. Tried unbinding and re-binding the device on day two. Still does not work. Instant HR DATA does show up. Daily pedometer (pull-down to sync) steps show up. There is a slider for previous days, but all zeros. Waiting for next update. Meanwhile, looking elsewhere for sleep-tracker and exercise HR monitor.

My prior review ::
So far, working A-Okay! ★★★★★
Day one. Setup (iPhone 5) with Bluetooth took me about 10 minutes. Very intuitive. Read some reviews, avoided the problems. Main screen pull down sync takes 10-20 seconds per sync. A-Okay! Good data so far.
Continuous heart rate (automatic sampling rate?) looks good. Will report back later with any updates.
Will this device allow me to measure and log my peak exercise heart rate?
Does it have the ability to take continuous HR, during a workout, and then sync them later with the app?
My peak exercise heart rate varies from 120 to 180 BPM, depending on my workout.
My resting heart rate, the next morning, can vary from about 55 to 65 depending on workout recovery, sleep efficiency, and prior workout intensity.
I want to measure my peak exercise heart rate, during a workout, or on a hike, at the top of each hill. Then, I want to compare with my resting heart rate the next morning. This should provide an indication of training efficiency or overtraining. Ideally a way to log all this data in the app, after any workout, for comparing workout-to-workout, week-to-week, and month-to-month.
Accuracy of my sleep cycle data, activity, calories, steps and distance? Time will tell.
Here we go . . . So far, working A-Okay!
Device: CELLAY HR monitor wristband.
